About Project

With its historical layer and local values, Zeytinburnu is one of the prior cultural, trade and faith centers of Istanbul today as it was yesterday.

Zeytinburnu turned into a typical Ottoman settlement after the conquest of Istanbul. It used to grow various vegetables and fruits in the famous gardens extending along the city walls. As shanty houses were replaced with modern buildings in the 90’s, the polished historical fabric and the local values changed as well as the social structure of the province. Mega Garden Park, which will participate in this change and add value to the territory, is planning to bring various shades of green in the history of Zeytinburnu into action once again as well as the design and the innovative architecture…
